Kelham Island & Neepsend Arts and Heritage Trail started as a community response to the proliferation of graffiti tagging and has become a partnership between local artists, social enterprises, business and the community. Its mission is no longer solely to replace ugly tagging with works of art, but to create an educational trail across the neighbourhood that highlights its industrial heritage and tells a story of the rich wildlife along the river that runs through it.
