Meet Pinch N' Pull

In just over a months time the 8th Ball Street Deli will take place on Kelham Island's iconic Ball Street Bridge. To coincide with the run up to Christmas we've put a great line-up together to help visitors indulge in the festive season.

We're excited to announce the first trader who'll be joining us on Sunday 2nd December is Pinch n' Pull. We wanted you to get to know them a little better...

1. Please can you introduce yourselves.

Pinch N’ Pull are a Sheffield based street food and catering company specialising in toasted wraps with fillings such as spiced slow cooked pulled meats, grilled halloumi and Mexican spiced sweet potato.  We pride ourselves on using flavour combinations to really elevate a simple wrap to mouth watering street food as well as ensuring that we provide tasty meat alternatives for both vegetarians and vegans.

2. What will you be bringing to Ball Street Deli?

We will be bringing our newly designed trailer unit full of winter warmers such as a slow cooked BBQ beef brisket wrap with smoked cheddar, peppery rocket leaves and a rich BBQ sauce. We will also have our popular Mexican spiced sweet potato, served as a wrap or box meal, topped with a choice of any of our meats, freshly grilled Halloumi cheese or a medley of Mediterranean vegetables.

3. Why do you love Kelham Island?

Kelham island is a massive up and coming part of Sheffield, almost home to Sheffields street food scene with so many new places opening up every month.  The Ball Street bridge has also been the venue of some of our favourite and most enjoyable events this year with such a good mix of people passing by, always giving us a good response.

4. What has been your highlight for 2018?

Highlights of 2018 have to be seeing the development of our unit and how far it has come since we started just over a year ago.  Massive thanks to my Dad, who has designed and crafted most aspects of this himself. Also meeting Jean-Cristophe Novelli at Flavours Food Festival has to be up there along with securing a regular Friday lunch spot at Union St. Cafe.

5. What have you asked Santa for this Christmas?

My letter to Santa is not yet finished but if I had to ask for one thing it would be a new snowboard but I am not very hopeful, or a pet turtle.

Don't forget to come back tomorrow as we announce the second trader who'll be at Ball St Deli on 2nd December.
