What is the Community Flood Plan?
The Community Flood Plan is aimed at residents and businesses situated within, or adjacent to, the Kelham Island Quarter of Sheffield. It is a voluntary document produced by Kelham Island & Neepsend Community Alliance (KINCA) using help, advice and information offered by the Environment Agency, the Sheffield Flood Resilience Network and Sheffield City Council.
The purpose of the document is to provide guidance and suggestion as to what to do both prior to and in the event of potential or actual flooding within the Kelham Island Quarter.
Adherence to all or any of these guidelines is AT YOUR OWN RISK.
This information is given as suggestion only. Your personal safety and that of those in your care is of the utmost priority and importance.
Emergency Services Telephone No’s and other useful information are listed in Appendix ‘A’
